Passion is the most essential element in business. it ranks top on entrepreneurs check-list Now listen carefully, before you throw your job in your boss’s face, consider next whether you have and enthusiasm for the idea of running a business. Of striking deals like Donald Trump with suppliers. Of handling technology problems, invoicing snags. handling poring spreadsheets and being occasionally slapped by customers who woke up from the wrong side of the bed. And that is just the beginning.
Does these thought excite you or horrify you?
There is more to it than just enjoying the world of business.
Probably of more importance is having an appetite for engaging with other people. This is because entrepreneurship is fundamentally about people and relationships. Its about forging social connections with investors, suppliers, employees, customers, and even competitors.
Even with the best business plan investors are only going to stump up funds if they trust you to deliver on your plan. Suppliers need to understand you vision. Employees need some persuading to join your little start-up outfit rather than some established firms like Apple. It goes without saying that customers will need some more convincing to buy your products or services. In addition it wouldn’t hurt to have a friendly relationship with competitors to keep up with new trends in your industry.
If all of that communicating and negotiating, and influencing and persuading sounds like your idea of hell, then entrepreneurship is not for you. Stay with your boss still or find a more comfortable firm to stay with. No harm. Avoid having to get your hands dirty with horrible responsibility of financial goings-on and business decisions, and dealing with people on daily bases.

This law is a powerful law and it is capable of improving or completing destroying your business. No wonder they said that whatever you truly believe with feeling becomes your reality. You belief acts like filter for information that is inconsistent with them. In one of my my poems “Believe’” I talked about the power of believe along with its good and bad side. You reject information that contradicts what you have already decided to believe, whether or not your beliefs, your prejudice are based on facts or fantasy.
The worst belief you can have are “self-limiting beliefs” these occurs whenever you believe yourself to be limited in some way, so you have to be careful with your belief even in your business.
Self limiting beliefs could be thinking that others are superior to you in some way, that your business w ill never g row. These self-limiting beliefs act like brakes on your potentials; they hold you back and generate the two greatest enemy of success which are- doubt and fear. These enemies luck you up and your daily with paralysis of the mind i.e. cause you to hesitate to take intelligent risk in business.
To break from the shackles of this limiting belief you must reflect any though or suggestion that you are limited in any way. Accept the belief that you are “no limit” person.
Sometime ago, I fell into the mental trap that if you are faced constantly with problems so numerous that you tend to ask, God why me? It means that your sins are after you or God is no more with you. This belief stayed with me for years till I broke out. I realized that God does not punish us and that He was loves us. Well don’t start thinking that I am a pastor right now but I am just telling you what held me back and made me wet my bed because it limited me badly.
The fact remains that nobody is better than you and that is what you belief could cause great harm on you. To win you most challenge every self limiting beliefs that are holding you back weather in business, peer group, at home, office or in your community. You need an honest feedback of someone who knows you well. Meet someone who know you well, it could be you dad, mm, best friend. Ask the person if he or she sees what might be causing you to perform below your potential its. What you might get may pierce your heart painfully but it is mid from doubt and fear. Don’t be scared even though they are vampires, the magic sword, cross or even the so-called holy water is there along with the silver bullets. So aim fire and killed that vampire that is limiting you. Both is your personal life and business
Female entrepreneur? Well, I think that is fun because as never before, females are becoming a part of the entrepreneurial loom both here in Nigeria and worldwide. The reasons and contributing factors for this are numerous, but it is changing the fact f business. Even the bible had some women who thrived in business. Hope you allowed. So let me show you some example; in Acts 16:14, you can read it up but I will paraphrase it. It said, “And a certain woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth.”
This is interesting but here is another in Luke 8:3, “Joanna the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod’s household: Susanna and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.” She was good.
Here is the fact, the 2006 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM). Report on women and Entrepreneurship revealed some interesting characteristics of women route to self-employment.
Female entrepreneurs worldwide are much more likely than their male entrepreneurs to start their own business when still employed. The question is does this have any benefit to turns of resources and social capital? The answer is yes it does and not that, it acts as a safety net as out female folks express less confidence in their entrepreneurial ventures than men.
The report showed that early stage entrepreneurship in women continues to grow globally although start up rate is still higher among men. Now if you are a man reading this, I want you to give THEM a cool SARCASM LAGHTER because we are still on top. They aren’t gonna catch up with us. Isn’t that right?
For the ladies no offense meant just relax and laugh back. It your turn because the report also that more than a third of people involved in entrepreneurial activity are woman. Here is the big blow that we the male folks gave them, the male/ female gap is still significant especially is high income countries and technology-intense sectors.
According to the National foundation for women Business Owners:
v Women-owned business produced more than and 16 trillion is annual sales.
v Women now own 36% of all US firms.
v Business owned by women has a higher survival rate than the average U.S business.
This is good news, isn’t it? If you are a female reading this good news for something blog say, “Yeeh! Yeeh! That’s Okay for before the male folks gets angry and that engagement will be lost.
