Enjoy Business and People

Passion is the most essential element in business. it ranks top on entrepreneurs check-list  Now listen carefully, before you throw your job in your boss’s face, consider next whether you have and enthusiasm for the idea of running a business. Of striking deals like Donald Trump with suppliers. Of handling technology problems,invoicing snags. handling poring spreadsheets and being occasionally slapped by customers who woke up from the wrong side of the bed. And that is just the beginning.

Does these thought excite you or horrify you?

There is more to it than just enjoying the world of business.

Probably of more importance is having an appetite for engaging with other people. This is because entrepreneurship is fundamentally about people and relationships. Its about forging social connections with investors,suppliers, employees, customers, and even competitors.

Even with the best business plan investors are only going to stump up funds if they trust you to deliver on your plan. Suppliers need to understand you vision. Employees need some persuading to join your little start-up outfit rather than some established firms like Apple. It goes without saying that customers will need some more convincing to buy your products or services. In addition it wouldn’t hurt to have a friendly relationship with competitors to keep up with new trends in your industry.

If all of that communicating and negotiating, and influencing and persuading sounds like your idea of hell, then entrepreneurship is not for you. Stay with your boss still or find a more comfortable firm to stay with. No harm. Avoid having to get your hands dirty with horrible responsibility of financial goings-on and business decisions, and dealing with people on daily bases.

As a start up, help others and test quick

Startups crash because they fall in love with their new solution, and fail to see that no one cares about the problem they are trying to solve.
Also, individuals get caught up in what they want, and fail to understand that success means
helping others more than you help yourself. To succeed, a startup must find a problem that is driving someone crazy, and then solve it.
If you are an individual seeking to make a personal pivot, you need to be more obsessed with helping
others than you are creating the ideal life for yourself. Who are you going to help, and how? The
ideal life will follow; it is the end result of helping people you really want to help.

Keep your nose to the grindstone in pursuit of the wrong goals, and all you’ll end up with is a short
nose. Startups need to test new ideas quickly, and so do you. For example, don’t quit your job to
enroll in a master’s program. Instead, test the idea first. Enroll in an online, self-paced course and see if you have the interest and discipline to speed through it in a week. Then try another. Reach out
to professionals on alternate career paths and get 20 minutes of their time to test your potential
moves. Test as quickly as you can.

determined or limited. I believe nothing is impossible; in fact I hate the word “impossible”. Emotional intelligence can be improved by practice and repetition, of course practice makes perfect. Do you remember the first time y ou were learning to drive? I am guessing that you stalled the car a couple of times. And you were almost certainly driving so fast or slow. I guess a good fellow would have advised me to get off from your car before a touching heartfelt stories emerges from our little voyage. However I bet that as you spent more time driving, your confidence grew and now you can drive without thinking about it. You probably can now admire that pizza shop and not worry about your feet and hands.
Don’t worry emotional Intelligence will be discussed in details later. I just want to stress the point that:
Your ability to interact with others to communicate, negotiate and persuade determines your income more than any other factor. Please note that your ability to get on with others account for 85% of your happiness. One of your chief responsibilities in life is to learn how to negotiate well on your own behalf. Come on, don’t you think we need to be able to get more of what we need faster and easier than we could if the other person was better at negotiating, right? If your answer is, “yes”. Let’s go on and nail it down with the first Act of negotiating
First and foremost; everything is negotiable. Yes you heard me or should I repeat?
One thing you have to know is that all price and terms are set by someone. They can therefore be changed by someone. This does not be that they will be change; but it does mean that there is always chance. I want you to begin today to look at life as one long extended negotiating process. You will find that almost every situation contains elements that you can negotiate to improve the terms and conditions for yourself and others. Always note that price is the best-guessed estimate of what the customer will pay. This means that the asking price is loosely connected to objective reality. The cost of manufacturing and marketing a particular product or service often has little to do with the price that is placed on it. Price is arbitrary and merely reflects someone’s opinion of what the market will bear at that moment. My mama raised no fool, so I would challenge that opinion.
TIME TO BE NINJA
Begin today to ask for better price and terms. The mean reason why you don’t ask for better price is the subconscious fear of rejection, that fine but I confront mine so confront yours or else……. You know what those dots mean? Let forget it but I need you to improve you finance by asking for better price. Start by asking in a polite, warm and friendly way.
